The Academy of Music, located in Lynchburg Virginia is one of the oldest beaux-art theaters in the United States. “The Academy of Music” of the same name is a film that was produced to help raise awareness and money for the theater. This film tells the story of the long and rich history to it’s unfortunate closing. It then shows how it hopes to re-open and regain its heritage. This film has helped raise over $17,000,000 towards its cause.
